Research Interests:

Dr. Duell joined the Rutgers University faculty in 1955, and except for a two-year leave of absence to train young field scientists in Brazil in research techniques, he remained there teaching courses in agronomic crops and conducting related research. Proper establishment of appropriate vegetative cover (generally grass mixtures) in difficult situations was his particular concern, and remains so even after his retirement in 1991. He maintains an office in Lipman Hall, but can also be contact through the Plant Science Department, in Foran Hall.
