Dr. Ning Zhang studies ecology and evolution of plant-associated fungi, using Rhizoctonia and other important turfgrass pathogens as model systems. Another research focus is on the development of a DNA macroarray system for early and accurate detection and identification of fungal turfgrass pathogens that will facilitate early diagnosis and improved disease management.
