My research interests include utilizing molecular genetic tools including DNA genotyping using capillary electrophoresis, Sanger sequencing, Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), transcriptome sequencing, and Genotyping by Sequencing (GBS) to investigate plant genetic diversity and the molecular genetic mechanisms underlying plant phenotypes.
