Angels Crossing Golf Club is currently seeking an assistant GCS to replace our current assistant who has accepted a position as the golf course superintendent at another course. We are an 18 hole golf course spread on a unique 350 acre property with a large and improving practice facility. We are currently improving all areas of our golf course and practice facilities. Last fall we planted a new practice green that will require final grow-in this season. We have many projects scheduled over the next five years and an exciting atmosphere for you to develop and grow.

Interested individuals should be hard working, positive and a self starter with a keen eye for detail. Full understanding of golf and proper daily setup is essential in this position. The assistant will report directly to the golf course superintendent. You will assist in the management of personnel to include the following duties: record keeping, safety management, daily supervision and training of seasonal staff. You will also work closely with the superintendent with daily strategy meetings, weekly planning for the golf course and project management.

We are looking to add a team-oriented individual with a passion for the game of golf and course management. We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude looking to grow their knowledge in the turf industry. You will work directly with the course Superintendent and Assistants. The position is designed to help the candidate advance their career in turf. Our goal is to prepare the intern for the next phase of their career. Specific duties include hand watering, chemical and fertilization applications, equipment operation and leading small groups to accomplish maintenance and construction goals. Our interns will aid in the direct maintenance of the greens, tees, fairways, rough and surrounding property. You will be exposed to all aspects of course maintenance from course set-up, pesticide applications, water management to managing small crews. You will be exposed to many different golf course construction processes.

At 5600 feet, Lander Golf Club is one of the highest courses in Wyoming. The Wind River Mountain range creates a dramatic backdrop for the 18-hole course. The course features 6,574 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71 and a driving range. Our relaxed atmosphere welcomes golfers of all levels.

The Golf Course Superintendent manages the day-to-day operation of the golf course, meeting the expectations of the course and maintaining great playing conditions. This position requires leadership and communication skills. The Golf Course Superintendent directs and participates in all aspects of golf course maintenance and performs related work as required. The Golf Course Superintendent reports directly to the Golf Board of Directors in addition works closely with, advises and coordinates with the Head Golf Professional on any issues related to golf course. The golf course superintendent manages a maintenance staff.

The internship we offer is extensive and well rounded and offers hands on experience of all aspects of golf course maintenance and championship preparation. Everything from equipment operation to course presentation to high level problem solving will be addressed. Also, students will be given leadership opportunities to see the full extent of maintaining a course at championship level. On top of the experience gained from tournament preparation and daily course maintenance, we offer staff training seminars taught by the Golf Course Superintendent, Assistant Superintendents, and Technicians. These educational meetings cover topics including Irrigation, SubAirSystems, Budgeting, Calibrations, and Chemicals/Fertilizers Applications.

Caves Valley Golf Club is looking for highly motivated, team-oriented individuals with a goal of advancing in the industry. Our philosophy is to ensure students are ready to progress into the next stages of their careers upon completion of their internship at Caves Valley. Individuals will work closely with the Superintendent and Assistants in developing their skill set in an array of management tasks necessary to provide championship conditions in the transition zone. Tasks include, but are not limited to: Course Set Up, Calibration, Plant Protectant and Fertilizer Application, Hand Watering, Irrigation Repair and Troubleshooting of a newly installed state of the art Toro irrigation system. Individuals will have the option for tournament volunteer experience and the unique opportunity to experience a full renovation and build up to the 2025 BMW Championship. Full-time employment available upon completion of degree or certification program.

Assistants will be involved in the daily maintenance of two golf courses, Blue and Gold, and will work closely with the Superintendents and the Director of Golf Courses and Grounds. Assistants will manage and perform fertilizer/pesticide calibration as well as proper application practices. Daily jobs will include but not limited to course setup, irrigation repair, disease identification, and water management on USGA and pushup greens. Assistants will also be responsible for the management of a 50+ member team.
